DOUG & KELLY KOPP
Pastor Doug has been married to his wife Kelly for thirty years this July. They have three adult children, Caroline, Clara, and Charlie. Pastor Doug's weekly Bible based messages will be engaging for everyone, ages 8-80. His unique style of preaching will make scripture relevant and applicable to your daily life. Pastor Doug was an elementary school teacher for fifth grade students for twenty five years. He enjoys fishing, playing sports, and spending time with his family including their new golden retriever puppy, Finnian. Pastor Doug's vision for Punta Gorda Church of the Nazarene is to reach the unchurched people in our community, to point them to Jesus, and equip disciples to lead others on their journey.
BAPTISM SUNDAY
It definitely brought me closer to God and to turn my worries over to Him. It took away the guilt I've have been carrying around for leaving the church I was brough up in (over 60 years). I even feel more comfortable in my everyday life and closer to my Church Family
On Sunday September 22nd I had the blessing of being baptized by Pastor Gary Warchol. This, for me, has been a day long in coming. I received Christ into my life about 4 years ago and have wanted to have an outward show of my faith and acceptance of Him into my life. I pray with the help and the love of my brothers and sisters in Christ that I am a light unto the World for Him, Jesus Christ our Lord.
